Porto Murtinho, Brazil
October 7th - 17th

On October 7th, 40 people from Locust Grove and 7 other churches travelled to Proto Murtinho, Brazil. Porto Murtinho is located in western Brazil close to the Paraguay border, with a population of 13,000 people. This year's trip is in response to a request from Adalto Oliveiro, who we worked with in the Corumba area many years ago. He is now serving the only Baptist church in the city. The building were they have been meeting was condemned by the city. After much prayer, the pastor has asked us to come and help.

While we are in Porto Murtinho, the team will construct a new church building, conduct bible school for children, provide medical clinics, sports evangelism and prayerwalks. Please pray that many will come to know the Lord as a result of the efforts of this team.
